How long have you been together?
We have been together for 8 years!
Where did you meet?
We met at Penn State during a “Jewish Speed Dating” event. We then
reconnected during the summertime at Penn State’s Artsfest!
Where did he propose?
At Wendy’s father’s surprise 60th birthday, Craig gave a speech in front of
the entire family and ended in a proposal!
Tell us a love story!
It all started Wendy’s freshman year when she decided to go with her friends to “Jewish Speed Dating.”
When she entered the bagel store, she looked around and saw many Jewish guys and was ready to get started.
Little did she know that one of the Jewish boys, Craig, saw her and it was love at first sight (no joke ask him).
When Wendy and Craig had their first conversation it was all about New Jersey and their love of bagels.
Most people would have said it was “beshert” the Yiddish word for meant to be/ soulmate… Not quite.
Craig reached out to Wendy on Facebook, but sadly Wendy forgot to answer…
Fast forward 5 months, and through the power of Birthright, Craig was at Arts Fest at Penn State with his Birthright buddies.
These friends happened to be friends with Wendy.
Therefore, Wendy and Craig ran into each other on Beaver Avenue and then at a fraternity party.
After that weekend, they exchanged BBM pins and the rest was history…
I guess you could say that it was “beshert” after all!
